Our Story
My journey with painting started right after high school. I spent my early years working seasonal jobs, and during the off-seasons I turned to painting. What began as a way to fill time quickly became a skill I enjoyed and took pride in. As the years went on, I realized I wanted more than seasonal work — I wanted stability, purpose, and the opportunity to build a family. That’s when I made the decision to step away from seasonal jobs and pour my energy into creating my own painting business.
In 2022, I founded JR Painting with a simple mission: to provide superior painting services to the Prescott area. I wanted to create a company that didn’t just paint homes, but left lasting impressions through quality workmanship, honesty, and professionalism. From the very beginning, my focus has been on treating every project like it’s my own home and making sure every client feels confident they chose the right team.
Residential painting
Fast forward to 2025, life looks a little different in the best way. My wife and I welcomed our first child, Jett, and family has become an even bigger source of motivation in everything I do. Every project we complete is not just about business — it’s about building a future for my family while helping other families love where they live.
When I’m not on the job site, you’ll often find me outdoors. I’m passionate about mountain biking and dirt bike racing, and I bring that same energy and determination into my work. Painting is more than just my career — it’s a craft I take pride in, and it’s the foundation of the business I’ve built.
